The iconic Symmetric sofa is characterized by clean lines, attention to detail and a sense of visual lightness that became a trademark of his work. Inspired by Shaker design, the sofa debuted with a channel-tufted back and slim walnut legs that made the piece appear weightless. Falling out of production after McCobb's death in 1969, the original design became highly sought after. From its sculptural curves to the angled arms, our reissue captures every coveted detail, updated in lush auburn velvet to give it a more modern look.

Care & Note

Machine washable at 85℉ on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry low and iron on medium.
Can also be dry cleaned.

Cushion covers are removable, but we recommend contacting a professional upholstery cleaning service for overall cleaning of major spills and stains.
Though we use contract-grade fabrics for maximum durability, all fabrics will pill slightly with normal friction and use. Use a fabric or sweater shaver periodically to remove pills. Pilling will decrease once loose fibers are removed.
To maintain shape and comfort, we recommend fluffing cushions by hand every 1-2 weeks.

Returns & Exchanges

In-stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
