At ZHIMU HOME, we stand behind the quality of our furniture and want every purchase to be a positive experience.
If an issue arises, we are committed to handling it clearly, fairly, and efficiently.

Return Eligibility

In-Stock Items

In-stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Made-to-Order (Custom) Items

Made-to-order items must be reported for return within 7 days of delivery.

Condition Requirements

All returned items must:

  • Be in like-new condition
  • Include original tags
  • Include complete original packaging
  • Be unused, unassembled, and undamaged

ZHIMU HOME reserves the right to determine whether returned merchandise meets these condition requirements after inspection.

Restocking Fee & Return Shipping

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a verified defect or damage
  • Restocking fees and return shipping costs are waived only in cases of confirmed quality issues

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue
  • Images of the original packaging when applicable

Failure to report damage or defects within this timeframe may affect our ability to assist.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Discounted, promotional, or on-sale items
  • Custom or made-to-order products beyond the stated return window
  • Artwork, swatches, and samples
  • Items marked as “non-returnable” on the product page
  • Products that have been assembled, disassembled, installed, or altered
  • Resold or transferred items

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team at

Include:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Supporting photos or videos if applicable

If approved, we will provide return authorization and shipping instructions. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refund amounts reflect the original item price minus the 15% restocking fee
  • Original outbound shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable

Exchanges

Exchanges may be accepted for eligible items within the applicable return window.

  • Availability is subject to inventory or production status
  • Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly

Final Notes

  • ZHIMU HOME does not accept liability for items reported outside the stated timeframes
  • Policies may be updated at our discretion without prior notice
