Assembly & Installation

At ZHIMU HOME, we design our furniture to be thoughtfully engineered, clearly documented, and straightforward to assemble.
Because our products ship directly from our factory in China, assembly and installation services are not included by default.

Assembly Overview

  • Most ZHIMU HOME furniture is delivered partially assembled to ensure structural integrity during international transit
  • Final assembly is typically required upon delivery
  • Assembly instructions and required hardware are included with every eligible product

Some products may arrive fully assembled. Please refer to the individual product page for specific assembly details.

Assembly Responsibility

Unless otherwise stated at checkout:

  • Assembly is the responsibility of the customer
  • ZHIMU HOME does not provide on-site assembly or installation services by default
  • We do not offer technician visits due to international shipping logistics

For customers who prefer professional assistance, local assembly or installation services may be arranged independently at the customer’s discretion and expense.

Optional White Glove Service

White glove delivery and assembly may be offered as an optional paid service at checkout for select products and delivery locations.

When selected, white glove service may include:

  • Delivery to the room of choice
  • Basic assembly of the product
  • Removal of outer packaging materials

Availability, scope, and pricing of white glove service may vary based on location and carrier capacity.

Installation Guidelines

To ensure safe and proper use of your furniture:

  • Follow all provided assembly and care instructions carefully
  • Do not modify or alter any components
  • Secure wall-mounted or tip-sensitive items as instructed
  • Use appropriate tools and protective equipment

Improper assembly or installation may compromise product safety and void applicable warranty coverage.

Damage During Assembly

Please inspect all components before and during assembly.

If you notice:

  • Missing parts
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Shipping-related damage

Do not proceed with assembly.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at service@zhimuhome.com, including photos or videos of the issue.

Damage caused by improper assembly, unauthorized modification, or third-party installation is not covered under our warranty.

  • Damage resulting from improper assembly or installation
  • Injury or property damage caused by incorrect use or setup
  • Labor costs associated with third-party assembly or installation services
